⧭ Children’s program that encourages subjective interpretation of artwork
Starting on September 14, Gwangju Biennale will offer a series of education
programs for children at Gwangju Biennale Exhibition Hall and Geosigi Hall.
‘My Pan, Sori’ and ‘GB Little Forest’ are
participatory art programs offered to upper elementary school students (Grades
4-6) that encourage creative exploration of artwork, guided by a professional
curator.
Designed
to help young students understand the Exhibition and encourage participation,
‘My Pan, Sori’ enables children to understand sound and visualize their
perception of sound through drawings, while ‘GB Little
Forest’, encourages participants to take a look at the ecosystem and
make connections to personal ecosystems through their created works. Children’s
programs will be offered every other Saturday at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM
respectively, starting from September 14 for the duration of the exhibition period.
A
children’s docent program that introduces the basics of exhibition guiding and script writing and enables children to
present their own exhibition guide will be offered once a month during the
exhibition period, on the third Sunday of the month (September 15, October 13,
and November 10) at 2:00 PM. Related information on the Programs will be posted
