2025 Gwangju Design Biennale – 72-Hour Inclusive Design Challenge
As part of the 2025 Gwangju Design Biennale, the 72-Hour Inclusive Design Challenge is an international collaborative opportunity, where design students from Korea and abroad work together over three days to develop inclusive design solutions that transcend social and physical barriers.
Under the guidance of design professionals and professors, participants will work in teams to identify real-world problems, develop creative alternatives, and visualize their outcomes within a limited timeframe. The final outcomes will be exhibited at the Design Biennale, and both the process and outcomes will be shared globally through the World Design Organization (WDO).

- Challenge Dates: August 31 (Sun) – September 2 (Tue), 2025
- Application Deadline: July 11 (Fri), 2025, 23:59 (KST)
- Language: English
- Host: Gwangju Metropolitan City, Gwangju Biennale Foundation
- Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate students majoring in various design disciplines

Successful candidates will be notified individually by email by 18th July, and the results will also be posted on the official website.
※ Please note that the participants are responsible for entry visa (if needed), travel to and from Gwangju.
※ Gwangju Design Biennale will provide an invitation letter for visa application (if needed).
